Model Boat African Queen, ready for remote control all wood. My Grandad built this incredibly detailed model of the African Queen, it features hand made crates and decorations on the deck and a model steam engine that turns when the model runs.

The model is fitted with rudder and prop, rudder servo, motor and receiver. It will need battery and speed control to finish. Most of the pieces come off the reveal the hull and electronics so it is easy to work on. It's a beautiful model at about 29 long and will look fantastic on the water. Ranging from small antique boats at 14 inch length up to roughly 55 inches. There are tugs, sailing boats, galleons, barges, warships, paddle steamers, etc. They were built by my late grandfather who was ex RAF (Dambusters sqn) and a master craftsman. Sadly it's time to start clearing the collection as I can't possibly enjoy all the models at once, let alone store them! This listing is for the boat pictured above.
